ONA Awarded PUD Grant for Beach Access!

In response to our application last month, Tillamook County PUD has awarded ONA a Community Support Grant of $7,500 to fund a site survey and procure the agency permits required for engineering improvements to the Oceanside Beach Wayside access path.  The PUD staff also expressed interest in exploring other ways to assist with the project, possibly including new lighting and consulting advice. Nothing is certain, but the PUD’s endorsement and willingness to be involved is encouraging!  The next step is to await a decision from the TLT Advisory Committee and County Commissioners on our application for a companion grant to commission an engineering plan based on the site survey and permit criteria.  We expect the TLT grants to be announced in May.
