The Tillamook County Commissioners voted at its May 25th meeting to temporarily “pause” the issuance of all new short term rental licenses in unincorporated Tillamook County (including Oceanside) pending a review and re-write of the regulations governing short term rental operations to address community livability concerns. The county Short Term Rental Advisory Committee is currently working on such recommendations. Oceansiders Pam Zielinski, Terri Warren and Jerry Keene serve on the committee as well as Chief Tim Carpenter of our Fire District.
