Beach Access Pathway Project

The ONA has submitted two grant applications to pay for creating a “shovel ready” plan for reconfiguring the unsafe access path at Oceanside Beach Wayside.  We have requested  $8,000 from the Tillamook PUD Community Improvement Program to pay for a site survey and to obtain the necessary permits, and $15,000 from the Transient Lodging Tax tourism facilities grant program to commission an engineered design plan based on the site survey and permit requirements. The PUD will announce its grant recipients on March 13, 2018, while the TLT grants will be announced in May.  Fingers crossed!  Thanks again to the more than 150 Oceansiders who lent their names to the letter of support.  For those who are interested, the TLT grant application and attached pictures/support letters can be viewed here.
