Video Meeting on New Building Heights Rules

The ONA Building Height Team hosts a Special (Zoom) Meeting this Saturday, September 11, from 10-11:30 a.m.  The Team will discuss the research and reasoning behind its revised Report and Proposed Revisions to the current ordinance governing building height formulas in Oceanside.  We will also discuss the ONA Board’s separate proposal to consider reducing Oceanside’s maximum building height from 35 feet to 30 feet.  (The 24 -foot cap on oceanfront structures would remain.)  We announced and posted the Team’s initial draft Report and Proposed Ordinance Revisions at oceansidefriends.org several months ago.
