The ONA faces some critical community work next year, potentially including policy discussions and votes on issues such as outdoor lighting standards, building height rules, possible formation of a local improvement district for drainage/street improvements and a vision for commercial development on Pacific Avenue. While nominations for all officer positions are open for 2019-2020, the person who fills the vacant Vice President will play a key role in the committee work on such issues. It will also be a great way to to gain experience for the upcoming vacancy for the President’s position in 2020-2021.

The elections will take place at the ONA Annual Meeting on June 15, 2019, from 10 – 11:30 a.m., at the Oceanside Community Hall.
