County Commissioners approve PUD’s power line route

On July 30, 2018, the county Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to uphold the PUD’s proposed route for anew power transmission line from Tillamook over Cape Meares to service Oceanside and Netarts. The county Planning Commission approved the route earlier this year. Local residents or groups opposing the route may now opt to appeal that decision to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals.
