County approves Oceanside Community Plan and new Short Term Rental Rules

At hearings on April 16, 2019, the Tillamook County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted new short term rental rules and also approved the proposed 2018 Oceanside Community Plan, including new restrictions on windmills and other alternative energy devices in the village.  The new STR rules – including tighter enforcement procedures for visitor conduct, new exterior signage rules and a mandate to provide emergency information – are available on the Tillamook County website under “Community Development.”  The newly revised 2018 ONA Community Plan will be posted shortly at www.oceansidefriends.org
